I am telling you. The minute my kids are out I am downsizing. I could happily move into one of these little houses. I am so tired of even ours...60x24 is even too big as it is!

Well. . .one thing's for certain. It wouldn't get too messy because there's so little room for anything extra. Think of the savings!! You couldn't possibly buy a lot. . .so that adds up to $$$$$ in your pocket.

one for me and hubby and one for the kids to fight it out in.

seriously though, I think once the kids move out i wanna downsize. And really, i can see the advantages to something this small.

On one hand it would be great, but I'd miss hosting family in town and family gatherings like Christmas & Thanksgiving. But it sure is appealing when it comes to cleaning and heating it!

    Default HMMMM

I live in a 14X70 trailer. I know for sure i could eliminate one room and one bath. I use the other for a computer room, and pantry. When i got kicked out I moved into my sisters and she owned a house on lake jordan. They fixed a unfinished basement up for me. It was 22 x 22. It had everything i could of possibly wanted. I had parties with 18 guest there. I Don't think i could live in anything smaller and have everything i needed. My basement had everything a one bedroom apartment had. but then i watch some of them shows about apartments for sale in new york. and i have seen some at 200 sq feet. I dont think i would want to try to live like that. I need room for my junk and all my kitchen applicanes. i need crock pots. rottissiere grill, rice maker, toaster, coffee maker. i am sure i could think of more if i tried. I could easily knock 25 foot off my trailer and not notice it.

i want one. - i love the idea of just being able to take it with you straight into the woods or.. anywhere. and the total utilities cost, out of this world.

Well, we had a cottage once that was 25 X 25, one bedroom, but I don't think I could go smaller than that.

I would LOVE to have one of those houses...having more land is more important to me than a big house. However, I'd probably get 2 or 3 of those little houses for when I have guests or could even charge to have lodgers

I've seen these before and just LOVE them! I'd love one of the larger ones up on the hill here, it would make life SOOOO much easier!

We've also talked about just putting a 2 story apartment right in the loft of the barn with a HUGE picture window over the pasture, we had friends that did this and LOVED it.

I'd be different, I want this one right in the top corner of the horse pasture overlooking the valley. This'd really make people look twice here in Ohio!! And it's my hubbys favorite color, rust

I made the comment to hubby last week when we were staying in a days inn that two of those rooms put together would easily be enough space for 2 to 3 people. I would really like to buy some land when my daughter is old enough to be on her own and just build a cabin/house about that size.

I am the odd ball here , I would hate being in that little bitty space. I love big spacious rooms and sewing rooms and big kitchens to cook in and a big ole bathtub to lay in and luxuriate in the bubbles with some candles and a cool glass of wine. I think I would got batty if I was living in a home the size of my garden shed .

I could do but only if I have a really nice outdoor kitchen. Those little houses are so cute but they dont allow for proper cooking or food storage.
