Got some great deals today at Goodwill
Well, I was looking for a hair dryer, and we went to my favorite (or used to be) GW store, but they didn't have one. Still, I got a crock to put some of my many kitchen utensils and gadgets in (my others are getting way too packed) for $1.99. Then we went to a couple of other places, one called Consignment America which was so way cool! If I ever want to get new furniture, that's where I'll go.
I still hadn't found a dryer, because I wanted a small one, and all these places had was ones that looked like Magnum pistols. So away we went to the other Goodwill. Well, it used to be a Salvation Army, but it's now a Goodwill. I found the dryer, for $2.99, but she gave it to me for 1.99, because she couldn't see if it had a color on it (blue was the 50% off color). I also got an apple corer/slicer (mine broke) for .50 (blue) and a really nice pair of sandals for $2.50 (blue). If I had had more money to blow, I saw a lot more stuff I wanted, but I just paid that phone bill....soooooooooo.
So all in all, I spent about $8 (with tax). Probably spent another 2.50 on gas, but I'm not gonna count that.

nice job on the sandals. for whatever reason, the sandals at my local thrift town are always super expensive, im talking like $8 plus while everything else (clothing, purses) is usually a standard 99cents or 1.99.Marie
I had a baby!
Single mom, frugal to the bone, love doing stuff with my little one.

Great Deals - I get frustrated with GW here because their prices are too high on household stuff and they don't honor the "color" discount on anything but clothing!
