Hi, I hope that this is ok to post, if not, I trust somebody will let me know. I have been lurking everyday for a couple of years, but rarely post. The company that I work for is in the process of doing some major recruiting. We hire biologists to work for 3 month contracts in Alaska. We have done a lot of advertising on the internet, but now want to put up flyers all over the country. If anyone would be interested in posting some flyers in your area, you can pm me with your address and we will send you a package of 5 flyers. You can post them at universities, community bolletin boards, anywhere you are able to. We will pay $50 per referral. There is a reference # on each flyer that we will ask applicants for. If they don't have a reference #, and say that they saw a flyer we will ask where. If they saw a flyer in LaCrosse WI and we sent flyers to Jane Doe in LaCrosse, she will be sent a check for $50. We were asked to contack our friends and families to ask them to put up flyers, but to be honest with you, I have been so out of touch with most people that each phone call would probably take around an hour and I don't have that kind of time. I thought about this board and that some of the people in this community might take the opportunity to possibly make a little money. Hi Kathryn - I always like seeing your Alaskan picture everytime you post. I'm on Kodiak, but the company I work for is out of Anchorage, so I get to come over 2-3 times a year. I really like to visit Anchorage, although I suffer from sensory overload and sometimes feel overwhelmed. On the other hand, it's just so much fun to be able to cruise down the highway driving 60, whoo hoo, can't do that here!!!
