You guys would be so proud!!
We've been clearing out a lot of toys from our house - gotta make room for Santa's stuff

There were quite a few toys that were still in really good shape that my kids just didn't play with anymore. Even though I probably could've sold them on craigslist for a decent amount, I listed them on freecycle because I'd gotten quite a bit off of freecycle lately and I'm all about paying it forward, ya know.
So, I explained to my 4 yo that someone was coming today to pick up some of the old toys that they don't play with anymore. He was fine with it and then he asks "you're just giving them away for free? you really should make her give us some money for them, these toys are still perfectly good."
My DH looked at me and said "go post THAT on your message boards!!"~Jessica

LOL! Kids learn young... I try to sell my stuff, and then Freecycle what doesn't sell. But you know, sometimes I just don't want the stuff sitting around here that long. When that happens I just load it in the car and take it to goodwill. The stuff may be perfectly good, but it has no purpose in our life...so why not let someone else have it for free?
Cute kid. I'd say keep him!

wow kids learn fast but I am sure he will understand a bit better about giving away FREE stuff in a few years, I am also sure that the children who get these toys will be soooo happy.
