    Angry "Do Not Double" Coupons

Could someone please explain to me why some coupons say "do not double"?? Doesn't the store take the loss of the doubling? Why would the manufacturer care if the coupon is doubled?

Hmm, not sure why manufacturer's coupons would say that. Weird! I used some coupons last night that said "Do not double", but they were Fry's coupons. Unfortunately for me, no stores here double coupons at all though.

The Manufacture puts out coupons as part of it's marketing budget. When that face value is doubled in store, many manufactures realize that they are not gaining a new customer that will become brand loyal, but someone that is truely looking to play a game of getting things for the cheapest price.

I do this, I will be brand loyal on some products, I will buy them no matter the cost (Viva paper towels for one).
However, I will use whatever coupon I can if it's for lipton rice sides or rice a roni, it's all the same to me. I use coupons for these products at the one grocery store that doubles, I will not use them a the other grocery stores, nor would I buy this stuff without a coupon. So the manufacture hates people like me, I am not who they target when they print a coupon.

Now, all that being said, I find that most of the coupons that say do not doube (DND) will double automatically in store at the check out, sometimes a particular one doesn't but most of the time it does.
