I have the same problem with DH. If I have time, I will make homemade egg mcmuffins or breakfast burritos. Usually I will just buy the microwavable Jimmy Dean sausage biscuits. Stil expensive but better than eating out every morning!

Have you read the book Fast Food Nation? Or seen the movie "Supersize Me"?
Those two turned me off of McD's *really fast*!!!!
Hugs to you, I know its hard, and I like the idea of maybe getting your husband to cut it back to maybe a once a week treat? Maybe this is kind of how he deals with your illness when you are having a hard time? Its probably hard for him to see you so tired and drained - he might think he's making life easier on you by not having to worry about breakfast.~Jessica

Lots of good advice already...just sending lots of hugs your way dear. I've seen Lupus in action. You don't need this added stress.

Yikes! I told my dh how much the cost was for the breakfast everyday for a year and he added up how much we spent last year eating out ( before frugality kicked in for us) and ours was about 6000 dollars!!!!! SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS literally flushed down the toilet (except for what has decided to take up permenancy on me, that is) That just makes me sick....oh the things I could have done with that 6000......sigh.

A bowl of oatmeal, nuked in the microwave, takes only 3 minutes. Stir a spoonful of peanut butter in (or not). It is so yummy, and WAY better for his HEART! Those breakfast sandwiches will lead to premature DEATH!

I will have to try the meat muffin recipe. Dh eats breakfast at work, and lunch out everyday. I hate it. I know he likes the sausage, egg and cheese sandwiches. I'm going to try to get him to decrease his spending. Thanks for the post.

I really like the two make ahead and freeze recipes. You can make them when you have the strength and he can simply nuke them in the morning.
That way he still gets a breakfast that fills him up for the morning.
Right now he's just finding an easy way to get a filling breakfast without burdening you, but this would be the perfect solution for both of you.
Good luck!!
