Default I just have to share this - I am so excited!!

My DH had a few days off between Christmas and New Year. We have taken this time to really get to grips with our finances and debts. I had already bought and read the TMMO from Dave Ramsey and was very excited about it. I had the feeling that this would be the way for us. My DH does not like self-help books at all. I have explained the book to him and he has started reading it. Well he loves it. Of course not everything is applicable across here (at least not for us) but we are going to follow the plan. We have 2 credit cards. 1 of them is a card that is automatically written from the account every month and the other is a 'normal' credit card which we can use and then pay off. We have discovered that we are paying 17.3% interest on this card . THAT IS OUR NUMBER 1 PRIORITY after the EF. We have also locked this card away so that we don't use it any more.
I feel so excited about all this and I know that this is the start of something BIG and good.
    Just wanted to share this!!!!
