    Talking Happy Frugal New Year!

Happy Frugal New Year Everyone! I am ready to start working on my frugal goals.

    1. Put the credit cards away! Live beneath my means.

    2. Save $100 every month in my emergency fund.

    3. Save $100 every month for our trip to disneyland.

    4. Try to use up the food I already have and clothes too!

What are your frugal goals for the year?

And a very happy frugal new year to you!

    My goals for 2008:

-pay off the remaining credit card
-save a $5000 EF (we are on the road, and our house is rented, so $1000 just doesn't feel quite safe enough to me)
-pay off at least half of the HELOC balance
-get more organized at keeping track of what we spend--we're 'leaky' right now.

    edited to fix parentheses.

I always like the start of a new year!

    Goals for 2008:

    1. Have remaining 3 charge cards paid in full. I did reach 2007 goal of no charging! Yeah!

    2. Save at least $100 from each pay day. Thats $200 a month for most months.

    3. To teach my children some budgeting and frugalness this year!

These are just general, my detail plan is written in my "life book".

Oops. Under my number one goal, I also meant to put . . . pay off my credit cards. That's a big goal.

    Happy New Year to all!
I have come a long way in 2007 thanks to you all. My goals are:

*find a job !! (being laid off as of April 1)
*pay off the remaining $900 on student loan ( will do this before January is over)
*pay off last c.c. I have balance on...may be hard with being laid-off but will plug away!

    Happy 2008!

    My goals this year:
    ~Get back on Weight Watchers
~Pay off all my debts by the end of February - I am down to the last two!
~Save $4000 for a Disney World vacation by June 15th - I have a strict plan to follow and one misstep means it won't happen this year
    ~Save $5000 for EF by October 15

Of course all these big goals require some smaller goals be met - baby steps!
