Default Sunday Jan 6: What I did frugal today

    *clipped coupons
    *wrapped change from jar
*made return of small item not used at Christmas -- just $6.00, but in the past I wouldn't have bothered to return it!
*grocery shopped for the week and only spent $47.00

    Makin' a difference here!

I was so super frugal yesterday that I made up for it today. When I put a couple of hundred miles on my car and ate fast food.

    Wasn't frugal today...lol...

Another no spend day. Cooked supper at home. Didn't run the dishwasher until it was almost overflowing. Clipped coupons and made a menu plan for next week using the loss leaders from the sales paper.

I talked my DH out of spending money on dinner out. We stopped by the store on our errand run and bought fruit that we needed anyway and had an apple and a banana while driving. We then came home to yet more homemade soup and meatloaf leftovers.

I was very proud of him. Two months ago he would have pulled into a drive thru fast food place anyway.
