Default I almost ate out tonight

Earlier today my grandson mentioned my favorite sub shop and my mouth was watering all day long after that. Their subs are like none other. When I found out that no one was going to be home but the grandkids and me, I convinced myself that eating dinner out would be ok. I decided that I deserve to go out every now and then. Eating out is my weakness, and six days ago I decided that I would see if I could make it a whole month and not eat out.

Well, the kids didn't want to go out and said they wanted Grandma's cooking instead. Lately they really started enjoying eating and tasting new foods, even though they've eat my cooking all their lives....they act like it's a new experience. Ok, we've eat out so much, maybe it is a new experience. Anyway, how could I refuse.

So my grandkids saved me from breaking my goal and spending money I didn't really need to spend and we had a good dinner with lots of left overs.

    Yeah for the grandkids!

    Yay for grandkids!
Now if only I could find a way to keep my husband from buying food out during his lunch break (he does it even if I pack a lunch).

Those grandkids sound like the light of your life. So be it! Smart kids.

Good for you! We made the same resolution (or close to it...only eating out once a month)...well, we ate out this weekend. And, my DS's birthday is in January, so hopefully he won't want to go out to dinner for his birthday, becuase that will break our budget!

Hug those grandkids for helping you stick to your goals!
