    Smile I am proud of myself!

    I did my grocery shopping for the week today and I spend only $57.00 to feed 6 people. Not bad!! I hope I don't have to go to the store for anything else! Otherwise I'll have to myself over the head with a These little smilies are so much fun!!!!!

    Congratulations! My grocery shopping trip today was a bust...big sigh. $127 Canadian to feed 3 adults one week. And I didn't buy much meat. Gotta analyze a few recipes and modify ingredients. Cheese is really expensive here...$5.00/350 g (less than a pound).

    Good job! Hope you don't have to go back to the store because hitting yourself over the head with a would probably lead to a big mess to clean up & you-know-who will have to do just that.

    peanut: I hear ya bout $$$ when its Canada groceries. ugghh
    the cheapest i found cheese and bought in bulk lately was $4.44 for 600grams the long. Hubby got 3 last week, I froze two.
    I find the taxes don't help 16% on all non food items.

    That is great! I spent $52 this week to feed 4, so you are certainly a bargain shopper feeding 6!

    Peanut, I agree with you...for the most part, I have stopped buying cheese all together! It is getting so expensive!

    I'm so jealous! With my son's food allergies, I spend 3 times as much. Those health food stores are not cheap!!!
