Here it is for me:
~eat out less often
~work on fruit and veggie intake daily (shooting for at least 5 servings combined)
~give more to our fave. charities
~spend more time with loved ones
~move closer to my natural hair color with less highlights to cut down on maintenance and cost thereof
~use the technology available to me (already owned on computers and cell phones, etc...) more efficiently and fully to make life easier (if it will)
~enjoy the little things more (frugal and fun!)

Continue to figure out a balance with being frugal and couponing.
Shop for clothes and shoes at end of season sales. Also buy only what is needed.
Stay within written budget monthly.

Well...have a few this year...with Dh in college we won't really be paying off any bills...so I'm going to work the angle of keeping costs as low as possible so that debts are built as low and slowly as possible.
Here goes:
~ Reeeeeeeeeeally use from the pantry/freezer (esp now through Aug...those are going to be THE tightest months we've seen in quite a while...and that's really saying something...erf).
~ Try to keep buying loss leaders when possible.
~ Make sure the VAST majority of our meals are scratch cooking.
~ Bake all (or as close as I can get) of our bread.
~ Write down every penny we spend!! (This is going to be a tough one for me as I get frustrated with this practice quickly...but I NEED to keep track that close...it's gonna be tight!!)
I'm baking tomorrow, so here goes!
Kace - married to Dh 12 years
Love to
Full-time homemaker, part-time worker, college student. Always pinchin' pennies!

Actually, a lot of what everyone else has mentioned also applies to me and my family.
But anyhow here goes for us.
- We have put away our credit card and vowed not to use it.
- Pay off this credit card.
- Pay off 1 large loan
- and start to work on another HUGE loan.
- Also - don't throw away any food and use leftovers to make something else.
- Eat more 'made from scratch' meals and use less convenience stuff.
- Eating out has never been a real problem for us but ordering in IS a big problem so making sure that there is always something easy but good to eat on hand will make sure that we don't order in.
- The last one that I can think of is to start filling up my 'gift closet' so that I never have to run at the last minute to find a gift for someone which usually turns out to be much more expensive.*Avril*

Mom to Laurens (30), Timothy (26), Dimmen (24), Lloyd (23) and Fiori (21).
May - no spend days 8/15
May - hanging laundry loads 3
May - no eat out 13/15
May - baking 1/1

Dh and I have goal to have the rest of the medical paid off by next December. But that means getting rid of things we don't need (cable).
Cut the grocery bill even more, so more casseroles and bean soup, veggie soup, etc.
Finish painting the downstairs and put trim back up.
Selling CD's,books, movies that we don't watch or use anymore.
Excercise more for me. I've just been really depressed lately and walking usually helps.
Decluttering and giving things to children that belong to them.
Use dryer less. Since its been really cold I have been using it more.Maggi

Well...I have started my auto withdrawl for my ing account and cancelled the movies on my cable today. I have made a budget for the next 3 months which will be tight - in order to pay off debt. I am going to keep hanging clothes to dry, handwash dishes and shop from the store flyers. I really need to improve my menu planning (not change my mind every night!!!!), shop with a list, and stop some of the impulse items I buy - even if at the dollar store!

This year we are working towards making
every dollar count and knowing where it
is spent.
Also with health ins. copays going up so
much we are signing up for a HSA (health
savings account). We'll put a certain amount
of pretax dollars in it for copays and other
medial expenses.
