Strange the way things turn out sometimes
Good afternoon everyone,
Well, I think I mentioned that DH was going to quit his job and go back to taking care of the house, cooking, cleaning, remodeling, etc. while going to school....he felt like the job was interfering with his heavy school schedule and the quicker he can get his degree, the faster we can get into better financial shape....
As it turns out, when he went in to talk to his boss and told him that another company was offering him a job and he'd be quitting, they offered him a full time position with more money and benefits (he's currently a contractor)! This would include the ability to work from home, $5,000 in tuition assistance, life insurance, a good retirement, etc. He wasn't expecting that at all!!! We will know Monday for sure if they are able to actually do it because of possible HR issues that could get in the way. I hope he actually gets it because we really could use the money.
Anyway, it's really funny how things work out sometimes.....someone must be looking out for us!!!
