What is your monthly expense for gasoline?
In our household, we have 2 vehicles........1 gas guzzling suburban and 1 Camry. The Camry gets used the most now since we just started a strict budget and had alloted $450 for the combined monthly total. I really thought that was an inflated figure, but now it looks like it's going to be cutting it close. It looks like I'm spending $40 every 4 - 5 days in the Camry and so far the Suburban is looking good (I guess!) at about $75 every 7 - 9 days. So how much do you all allot for gas expenses? Thanks!

We just started tracking expenses, but I'm estimating somewhere around $400 for the month. I drive an older buick and get 25 miles/gal, but my fiance drives a 1 ton dually pickup. Terrible on gas but needed for his work.
The cheapest gas we can find here is $2.82/gal, not to bad compared to other areas.

I think we're at about 200.00 a month. I filled mine up three weeks ago and haven't been anywhere at all due to our aweful weather. So we've just been using dh's truck more than usual.

our amount varies depending on the month. During camping season, we obviously use much more gas in DH's pickup to pull the camper, etc, but during normal months, DH fills his tank only once (about $60) and I fill my car up once a month (about $30). But we are very lucky in that DH drives a company truck for work, that he brings home, and I don't really go anywhere except my weekly errands/grocery trip and the kids' sports things. If we had to use as much gas as is normal around here, I don't know how we could make ends meet each month.

I spend $40-80 a month on gas normally on a weird month if everything happens at once i could need to pay up to $140 if all heck broke loose.
If i am just going to work and taking Joe to the flea market on the weekends its just $40.
If Joe needs to go to charlotte each trip is $10, but he takes this out of his hobby fund just like he would his leather or tools... AKA he pays with it from money he makes from his hobby/job.
If Joe needs to go to his epilepsy dr then it should be about $20 just for the trip there.
If we have a lot of appointments and dr visits in town during the week ( like this week we had 4 dr appointments ) so thats $5-$10

We spend about $250-300 a month on gas. It depends on how much I drive. Dh makes a two and half hour drive a day to work and home. We both drive small cars, Yaris & Beetle, so it's not to bad. I don't work so my driving varies.

I spend about 400.00 a month and my DH spends about 600.00 (owns his own business and has two trucks - one for him and one for employee). I only live 30 minutes away from work, but my mil keeps my dd usually three times a week and that leaves me with 90 minutes of driving before I get to work and before I get home. But, I rationalize the price with the fact that my dd is in a safe, healthy, loving environment and I don't have to think about horrors with daycare.
Oh, and I drive a Suburban (paid for -yay!!!) that is a gas guzzling machine. I went from a compact car to this, which is so much worse on gas. But, I love the room and it's perfect to take the mil and bil along with us, along with all the baby stuff. So, I don't ever see me going back to a compact car. However, if gas does get 5.00 a gallon, I'll keep my gas guzzler and buy a cheap cheap cheap (I'm talking less than 1000.00) to do the running around.
I sure do wish the price would go down. I'm only 27 but remember buying gas for .99 a gallon!

I spend around $85 a month on gasoline for my car. I drive to and from work each day which is about 30 miles round trip. I drive to the gym a few evenings a week, which is an extra 8 miles each trip and I visit my mom one day a week (2 hour round trip).

In a good month $60. In a bad one $120. The difference between summer driving in town and winter driving in town. Also 2 tanks of gas vs. 4.

About $160-180 a month here. I have a commute that is 20 minutes each way and then take the girls to their activities on evenings and weekends. I am trying to limit my driving aside from that and group my errands.
