Default Medicare paid for by the state * blinks*

I am soooo stunned and excited .. best news i have heard in a long time.

Joe's medicare which would have been taking out almost $100 from his SSI check ... is paid for by the state MAGIC

Joe got a check in the mail the other day to pay him back for medicare taken out of his last check.. AND from now on he will be getting the regular amount of SSI

This will help us out soooooooo much here when i go on Maternity Leave... we will be ahead when i go on leave and only go slightly negative instead of be freaking out nervious about it. I can come out of hiding now *lol*

Good for you! I'm sure this will help you out tremendously.

How much we enjoy what we have is more important than how much we have. Life is full of people who have more than they know what to do with, but cannot be content. It is the capacity to enjoy life that brings contentment.---Unknown

Happy for you too! I don't think this is true in all states, but will have to check it out for TX because my Mom has been paying her own for years.

i know its true for NC .. i don't know about any other states.

We was shocked when we got the letter because we didn't know it was going to happen.
