Default Woo hoo we managed to keep our electrical bill at..

I can't believe it but I averaged out our electric bill for the summer months and we managed to keep it at $42.00 per month for the summer. Last year we average over $100.00 per month with an a/c on all the time, in fact one month it was $160.00 for that month.

This year we decided to use fans and open windows and wow, what a difference in our bill. Our house is 600 sq. ft. larger than our home in the city so I'm really pleased with bringing this down. Next summer, its going to even be lower.

Now will see what the winter will be! With new windows and doors, our heat bill (natural gas) should really go down from last year.

That is great! I could never get mine that cheap. I leave in Central Texas where it gets up to 100 degrees in the summer with NO wind blowing! It would be way too hot!
At least the winter bill doesn't go to high...never really that cold very long.

Congrats Cj. Great to hear you saved so much money. People here turn on the ac as soon as it gets hot and leave it on. We go by the temp in the house. We also built this with cieling fans in each room, makes a difference.
