Default What do you need a good sale on?

Ugh, I did not buy enough baking supplies this fall. I am down to my last 5 lbs of sugar and last 10 pounds of flour. I really need a sale on these. What about you? What sale are you waiting on?

I too am waiting on baking supplies. I know they usually go on sale before Easter, so I'm holding out. I need sugar & butter. I picked up 25 lbs of flour this fall at Sam's so I'm good there, but really miss the sugar.

Eggs! I promised DBF I'd make a whole bunch of breakfast burritos for the freezer as soon as eggs go on sale. Right now the "sale" is $1.50/dz.

Brown dress shoes and coats for DH. Sigh... He's picking up the $140 shoes and a $300 coat on sale for $250.

I could really use a good sale on ground chuck. I'm down to one small 1/2 pound pack in my freezer, but the prices have been terrible! I don't use ground beef because any small "savings" are gone with all the grease...just too fatty.

Dh and I buy the cheaper cuts of meat and grind our own ground beef that way we can cut out the fat.

    Cereal.

I just ran out of the Christmas cereal I got for 90c/box.

I'd also really love it if boneless skinless chicken breast went on sale for 99c/lb again.

I'm new to this and have never really "stocked up" on anything. At the present, I'm trying to figure out what the good sales are by creating myprice book.

There seem to be some good sales next week. This is what I plan to get, because these are the cheapest prices I've seen on these items.
    pork shoulder roast 1.00/lb
    chicken leg quarters .49/lb
    8 lb potatoes 1.59
    whole fyers 1.00/lb
    margarine quarters .29 (limit 2)
charmin 6 mega rolls 2.99 (limit 2) - I also have coupons for this!!

I'll probably get butter each day of the sale, because I drive by there everyday.
How are these prices compared to where you live??
