Talking I cant believe what I spent on my hair!

In all of my 28 years I have refrianed from coloring my hair and rarely get it cut. I here about my friends who spend $150- $250 a month to maintain theirs and I just couldnt bring myself to do that. Now however I have a friend who does hair for a living and on her off days she cuts mine for just $10 which is great to me. Anywho we have talked about highlights for a couple of months and since I had a few extra bucks I decided to treat myself yesterday and try something new! She did my highlights(Which look great!), my eyebrows, and cut my hair for $40!!!!! I may be able to keep this up at that price!

That's a really great friend! I get my hair cut and eyebrows waxed at a salon as a treat to myself or a gift for Christmas or my birthday. Of course I only go a few times a year. I always feel so good about myself afterwards.

I do admit that I dye my own hair every 6weeks. My hairdresser has complimented it many times and can't believe that it's not professionally done. She has told me she could do it for me, but it would look the same and of course cost much, much more. I figure she must really like how it looks or she would encourage me to pay her to do it for me. Until I can afford it or feel I need a change, I just stick with my $9 box of hair dye and whatever skill I have applying it. LOL, I believe it's just very good hair dye, I only do what the directions tell me to do .

When I got to her house she asked me what I wanted her to do and I told her to just have fun, lol. My hair is naturally very dark and now I have quite a bit of blond in it! I love it though.

That is a great price!!! I bet you look fabulous!!!

(When I get a cut and new highlights, it costs me $80!. So $40 is great, plus you get your eyebrows done!!!!)

Good for you! You make me want to at least get my hair cut, haven't been in 2 years I think.
