I've decided I'm doing 2 things with it. I'll be getting $600, so $300 will go into my Suze Orman Save Yourself (emergency) fund and the other $300 I will "invest" in myself by buying a used treadmill or elliptical machine. Anything left over from that will go to re-stocking the pantry.

We will put whatever we need to towards our $1000 Emergency Fund, another part towards our son's college tests (about $300), save part of it so we can do a prebuy w/ our propane when it's offered in the summer, and then should take care of almost all of it. If however, there's just a little bit left, it will go towards paying down our debt. I wish we were at the point in which we could save it, but this will help us get there eventually.

$500 will be going to our summer vacation fund and the rest will go directly to CC to get out of debt.

I think I'm looking at $1800. My daughter needs a new bed ~ maybe $300. The rest will go on credit card debt.

We just refinanced our home for a lower rate and borrowed a little extra. With our tax refund and the extra we borrowed we should be able to get a good used car. The rest will be saved and added to from Ebay and yard sale money until we have enough to do some more home repairs. The car I own now will be given to my son to drive back and forth to college.
