    Default I just love Walgreens!

I'm jumping back on the frugal wagon with both feet. Tonight I stopped at Walgreens to use some register rewards I had before they expired. I got

    3 Aussie shampoos
    3 Aussie conditioners
    2 Venus Embrace Razors
3 12 pks Angel Soft TP
4 200 ct boxes of Kleenex
    2 12 pk Pepsi
    1 12 pk Mt Dew
1 Nestle Egg candy (Shelbie was with me)

I spent $26.44 out of pocket and received $24 in register rewards. That's like paying $2.44 for all that stuff! I saved $52.50 with sales, coupon and register rewards I redeemed. Wish I could get savings like that on everything.

That's some great shopping! I love when you can find all those deals right in one store.

Good for you!! I have come to love using coupons and watching sales. I didn't see the soap on your list. Oil of Olay has a coupon out 2.00 off a pack and walgreens has a sale 2/4.00 makes the soap free and you get 4.00 in register rewards.

They also have herbal essence shampoo 6 for 20.00 and you get 12.00 in register rewards back. There is a coupon out for 2.00 off of one herbal essence shampoo so you can get 6 herbal essence for 8.00 plus tax (if you have six coupons) and get 12 back in register rewards. A very good deal.

Walgreens will accept coupons with the register rewards to pay for items or combine with their sales. CVS does the same.

I just started doing the couponing thing. What a difference it has made in our budget. I do notice I am stockpiling more but I also give away alot more than I was able to before. Helping my parents and various charities I support is worth the time spent checking out the deals and clipping coupons.

    You did fantastic!!

You can get the $12 RR buying the trial size pantene and Herbal Essence. The Pantene are $.129 and the HE are .99. SO these are both money makers. Buy 6 and get $12 in RR. You just can not use the previous RR to pay for them or you will not get your new RR.

I did both of these last time. That's how I got the RR to use this trip. I plan one going back one more time for the soap and maybe another shampoo deal. I have a few coupons left to make these really worth going back. I'm starting to run out of room in the house for all of my toiletry deals. I told DH he is going to have to give up some of his shelf space in the storage room.

Really! I may have to try this on the trial sizes. That really would be a money maker.

I did the Herbal Essence with the buy 2 get one free coupons that are out there. I had two of them, so used both. Spent 13.23, got back $12 in RR.

I too also did the Olay bar soap, with the $2 off coupons, of which I had 2 of, so spent $0 and got back $4 RR on this deal as well.

I did the same and got fabulous deals as well. I love that I have just discovered Walgreens.
I am now trying to come up with some sort of "spa" basket concept so that I can include some of my olay soaps as part of my Christmas gifts without it just giving "cheesy" soaps and shampoos

    You did fantastic!!

This is incorrect. You can only use ONE register rewards per transaction. It states right on the reward. Yes I know the register will let you do it, but that incorrect. I work for Walgreens so believe me we have been told many times. The register reward is considered a Manf. Coupon. in fact it states that right on there.
