    Default $3.32 a gallon !!!!! UGH!!!

Well I braved my way out the door this morning hoping there was enough gas to make my run and realized there was but that I would have to get some at some point today. I've been in all weekend sick and the bug is still hanging but not enough tonot go to work. Then I pass a gas station and see $3.32 a gallon. All I can think is .....and soccer season is just starting....we better not have a lot of away games.

I don't know how much leaner I can make my driving habits. How is everyone else dealing with this?

I didn't venture out yesterday, but on Saturday when I ran my errands, gas was $3.24 here. I filled up, because we were riding on fumes (LOL) and it took $60 for me to fill up. Unbelieveable!

Gas was 3.34 here this morning. One tank of gas gets my daughter to and from school for a month. I can't afford to drive anywhere else.

Our gas is $3.30. It just makes me mad thinking about it. I only drive on Sundays to meet my mom for lunch. But my husband has to go to work everyday. I heard on the radio yesterday that 2007 was the highest grossing year for gas. One company grossed over 40 BILLION dollars. GRRRRRRRRRR!!!

I use diesel, it's 3.75 this morning. What really bugs me, is that when I bought my car in Oct 2002, it cost $16.00 to fill up and it was around that price for maybe 2 years, and then it started rising and didn't stop. Now it will be about 43.00 to fill up, and that price is only good for a short while. That over 100 more per month

Like I said in another post, I am limiting my driving but I still gotta get to work and back home.

My husband has a full size truck that he uses to pull the trailers, but other than that he never gets to drive it, it would cost $80 every four days. He drives the older small truck, that is about 45.00 per week.

On the bright side, at least we both still have jobs to get to!

Yesterday, it was 3.19 here. The price of fuel has forced me to rethink every trip out. Planning errands arounds necessary outings has limited my trips to the store especially, and we have been spending less money in turn. I guess it's pretty bad to say that paying more for gas is saving us money.

I don't know what it is here this AM. I haven't left the house. But I'm really dredding moving from AL to CA. My gas cost is going to jump almost 50 cents a gallon.

We don't drive unless it's necessary. PERIOD.

I use diesel, so I am at 3.68/gal, but my car gets 55 mph so I think it is still canceling itself out for now. it's pretty darn scary though

It's between $3.50 and $3.60 here (NOT diesel). At least that's what it was last night when I took my youngest in to his church youth group (24-mile round trip.....luckily they bring him home). At least, that's what it was last night. I go to therapy this morning (62-mile round trip) and it'll probably be higher today.

Aaagh. I combine my trips now to the maximum. I don't know how I can cut back anymore than I already have.

We live 12 miles from the closest anything (school, store, etc....well, the post office is only two miles away), so, believe me, if we run out of anything, we don't "run to the store." We go without.

I have to make a 240-mile round trip tomorrow to my hand surgeon. Labor and Industries (it's a work injury) reimburses me for my gas, but it can take as much as six weeks to get it back, so it has to come out of my pocket first.

On my way to a clients home friday I filled up for 3.04 per gallon. Six hours later on my way home it had jumped to 3.34 Dh and I have really scaled back on our driving as much as possible. It does not help matters when you live out in the country so far away from everything and everyone. I hate to even think about how much we will be spending when we start going to our summer trailer. But all and all we give thanks everyday for what we do have! Our family and friends and our faith in God. Keeping a positive attitude really helps. I know these are some very trying times we are all in right now. It is wonderful to have a place like this for support.

Yesterday at Wal-Mart it was $3.04, it is $3.14 on the post (Fort Campbell). I canceled meeting some friends for walking this am, as I have to go back out this evening - each trip would be at least 18 miles round trip! Sooooo, I will just have to sit in my new Odyssey and enjoy it that way - cause gas is toooo expensive to drive it anywhere right now!

I've been thinking about how much it costs just to go a short distance! Like how much it is costing us to take our ds to school and pick him up, or just to run errands. Currently I think I am paying about 25 cents a mile, so just to go 10 miles is $2.50! So every 10 mile trip is $5 bucks just to get there and back. When I break it down like that, it makes me just want to drive the minimum and STAY HOME! When will these prices ever go down again?

I don't know how much a gallon is because ours is sold in litres, but it's currently $1.16/L and it costs about $60 to fill our car. Fortunatly, we only have one car, DFH doesn't have to go very far for work, and I take the bus @ $4/day. It's definitly going to impact how we decide where to buy a house tho!! I hate living in the city, but if we move outside the city, I'll need a car, and we'll have to spend extra on gas! Booooooo!

Just filled my son's car this morning. $3.48 gal for regular! That right. We are officially at the highest price i've seen it here in the PNW.
    Horrible.
