Cable, satillite?
I heard about orderfreetv.com on a radio show, and when I searched free tv I got a lot of sites. The sites all claim if you download certain software for a fee (about $50 on all sites) you can have satillite programs available on your computer. Each one claims it is totally legal. I was just wondering if anyone else had heard of this or used it, because I didn't want to pay $50 for nothing. Any response?

I have never heard of orderfreetv.com, but if it costs $50 then it isn't free. I'd be leary about downloading anything I wasn't 100% sure about onto my computer though...

Well, the $50 is for software, so technically claiming the TV is free is not that misleading. In theory the TV is already there, but you just pay for the ability to access it.
I did find an ACTUAL free tv site, I think it was freetube.com. It had some good channels on there, but not all of them. I watched it for a while, but it just wasn't what I had hoped for.

Freetube is a major porn site... I hope you got that wrong in remembering!

As for the $50 free tv, yes, very legit... now it's not going to get you ESPN, Discovery, etc, etc, those are pay channel sites, but it will get you a lot of like channels from around the world.
A few other free sites include:
Watch TV at actual exsisting channels websites... abc news, associated press, cnn, PBS, etc, etc. A lot of these channels have their content online already for free.
*** We don't have CNN with our basic cable line up, but watch online frequently (need high speed internet thou which we have)
