    Default Giving coupons away

I've got a little habit of giving away coupons to perfect strangers. If I'm in the check out line and notice that someone is buying something that I have a coupon for that I can do without, I ask them if they have a coupon for that item and if not, I give it to them. I never thought much of it until yesterday. My 16 yr. old is leaving for a mission trip in a couple of weeks and we went to Old Navy to get items that she needed. We were ready to check out with a big pile of items and a nice stranger gave me a coupon she got in the mail for 15% off my purchase. That saved me over 23 dollars. It was a really nice surprise. Maybe there is coupon karma out there.

That was really nice of her and nice of you to have done the same for others. I do it and I also put coupons on top of products if the expiration date is getting close and I don't think I'll use it...no sense in letting them go to waste.

I also play coupon fairy, especially with high value coupons and baby formula coupons.

I do the coupon fairy thing.

I had a free coupon for a coffee drink thing. I usually don't like them for some reason, but I figured I would try it because it was free. As I was checking out, I asked the clerk if she had tried it and she said that she loved them and she buys them all the time. She said that she needed to buy some because she had a long day the next day. I asked her if she wanted that one. She cleared it through her boss (so the boss would know that she didn't steal it). I was glad that she got her coffee drink for free and she was happy. I thanked her boss on the way out of the store for letting me let her have it. I love it when things work out like that. I probably wouldn't have liked it and I am always disappointed that I don't. So, she saved me from being disappointed.

I do this too and it definately comes back to you. I'm amazed at how many people don't use coupons at all! Sometimes when I'm in the checkout line I see the person in front of me buying stuff and I just know I have coupons for half their stuff, but I dont carry mine with me. Maybe I should start so I can help some other people out more often.

You are being rewarded for your kind deeds to others. Maybe someone passed coupons on to her. Maybe somewhere down the line you passed coupons to someone and they passed coupons to someone and eventually got to her. I'd like to think that you are experiencing the circle of your generosity. Sometimes I am in line and I see people and I know I have coupons that they could use but I'm always a little timid to just approach them and hand them a coupon.

I've done that on a number of occasions.

    Talking

Maybe there is coupon karma out there.
Oh there definitely is and I LOVE doing this and
have had it done for me many times. Life is truly
    a circle.

I was once in a grocery store and they had mailed
me an $8.00 off coupon but you had to buy a
certain amount of groceries. Well this lady in
front of me with young children had a cart load
of food. So I asked told her I had the coupon and
if she'd like it, it was hers. She couldn't believe it
she was telling all her children. She was so grateful.

Can't tell how many times in the Kohl's line I have
had a 15% off coupon and people offer me their
    30% coupon.

Try it. It really does go in circles.
