    Default Coupons off the net...

I print quite a few coupons off the web. How many of you find that you actually get better coupons off the web than you do in your local newspaper? I use coupons.com and eversave.com, what are some of your good coupon sites?

The coupon values may be better, but I can't use internet printed coupons at the grocery stores in my area.

It varies for me sometimes the internet coupons are better and sometimes not. I do like the option of looking for coupons to match up with the sales though.

I can use internet coupons. I only get coupons from the net or what my mom gives me. I don't buy the paper.

Why not? The coupons are barcoded for safety and you would think that retailers would be willing to take them. I have never had any trouble using coupons I have printed.

I can't use IP's at any of my stores either. They never give an explanation, only that it's their policy. Each individual store has it's own policy, so if one Kroger takes them, another might not. Mine won't.

That really is a shame that stores in some of your areas won't accept web coupons. My best coupons are the ones I print off the net, so I would be really PO'd if the stores in my area stopped accepting them. Have you considered writing to the corporate offices for your stores and asking them to start accepting web coupons...the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

I haven't had any problems using coupons off the web at stores here. If it won't read the bar code the clerk just inputs the amount on the register. They have never questioned any coupons I've given them.

I get better coupons for food items on websites than in the newspaper. Also most of the free samples I get have a good coupon.

I use smartsource and my coupons. Also a site for samples mysavings.com. They have some great samples.

~The stores in my area stopped accepting internet coupons years ago BUT about 2 weeks ago I noticed that alot of manufacturers websites and coupon sites were using the same coupon printing program so I thought I'd try again. If they all look the same the stores wouldn't have any reason to think they weren't legit. Last week I printed some and asked customer service. They take them again now, except ones that say FREE. I'm glad I tried again!~

for the groceries stores here you can download the coupons to your store card so when you shop you dont have to fool with paper coupons.

This is only good for store coupons.

I've given up trying to find stores around here that will accept online coupons.

I would love to use them, though, because the ones that I see are often better than ones I see in the newspapers or in magazines.

When I use internet coupons at my favorite local grocery they have to have a manager okay it. I asked about that and he told me that they have been burned by some when they companies have refused to reimburse for them. There was apparently a particularly big Pepsi promotion that they lost a lot on. The coupons (at least the ones I've gotten) say on them "may not be copied" or something like that and apparently the companies will reject them if they think they were photocopied.

So this store will accept them but they are more careful now. I'm guessing other stores have had similar problems and some have just decided it isn't worth it to try to screen them all for legitimacy.
