Light dimming
Hey, have any of you heard of this event?
http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNew...22?hub=SciTech
This seems to tie in with a frugal household to me! I can't imagine going a week without electricity in the city. We used to do it all summer in the bush, but in the city?! I am really impressed. DH and I will be turning off lights, computer and TV on March 29th. I hope enough city residents do it that we can see the stars clearly. Anyone who's done any stargazing knows it's almost impossible to do within a city.
Who's up for the challenge?

I love this idea. It could be a more than one-time event at our house. Making a prediction: January 29, 2009 ~ maternity wards may be a little fuller

What a neat ideal, I'm going to see if dh and ds's want to do this. We live in the country and can see the stars almost any night of the week. I couldn't imagine not being able to see the stars!! I am so thankful.
