Coupons stank again, in Sunday paper
Cheez, the only thing I cut out was the KC Masterpiece coupon, then decided my homemade kind is better, and chucked even that in the trash!

Homemade tangy barbeque sauce:
1 can of tomato soup (OK, it isn't ALL homemade)
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1tsp. vinegar
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. celery seed (celery salt will do in a pinch)
If you like your sauce with that smokey flavor, add a dash of that liquid smoke in the stores--just a bit. Or add hot sauce if you like it hot.
Mix well and spread on any meat. Very good on chicken and ribs. And wings.

I didn't think they were as bad as they have been. A lot were mail in which would take away from their appeal for many, but I don't mind mailing them in. The Friehoffer(SP) bread was a nice mail in. I like the BBQ sauce one as I do not make my own and we haven't had any BBQ in a while. The mail in on the Adidas was pretty good as DS uses this anyway. But that's about all I found that was remotely appealing.

Didn't even ask my fiance to bring back a paper from town today. It's $2.00 and I don't think I'd get that back in savings. They don't double coupon here or it might be worth it.
I make a similar barbecue sauce recipe but it uses tomato sauce instead of soup. We like it better than the store bought and much cheaper.

We couldn't get a paper this morning or next week but I'll do my best for my trader.
Only eat Shade Tree BBQ sauce so guess that one wouldn't have caught my eye only as a trade. To be One With The Universe In Spirit, Mind and Body

I agree, not good. I always save the BBQ sauce coupons, and try to acquire a few extra, because I guarantee there will be a sale on KC Masterpiece between now and Memorial Day. If your store doubles coupons, this could be free or very cheap BBQ sauce (KC Masterpiece is my favorite, too!). This is the only time I buy BBQ sauce all year. We don't use a whole lot, I do like it in baked beans, or mixed with leftover shredded beef or pork roast. YUM. I will buy 5 or 6 (using a coupon for each one) when they are at their lowest price, and be good for a year.

We stopped getting the paper long ago...the coupons just aren't worth it. Our local grocery store has the ads (with coupons) at the front of the store. I miss some of the regular coupons, but it's just not worth the 1.50/Sunday for the paper...

I don't really clip much any more. I beginning to wonder if it's even worth the hassle to do any coupons. I could still do pretty good with sales at walgreens without them and there would be almost no time commitment.

Coupons stunk again here too.
And we didn't even get the KC coupon. The only one I'll probably use is the cereal coupon.
