We have been using Ray Boone forever. He is one of only two jewelers I trust 100%. I did not know he was buying scrap gold. I will definetely take the rings to him. My mom lives in Somerset so when I go visit her this week I will drop by his place.
Thanks for the info.DD (19)

Paula, Suki, and others who have sold their gold jewelry --
Can someone give me more information on how this works?
Paula, you got $7/oz for the jewelry, but Suki said that gold is selling for $915/oz? I'm sorry to be such a dunce about it, but my husband has a few pieces of jewelry that he never wears... and I think they'd be much better sitting in my 2009 Deck Building fund.
LOL.
Thanks very much for your help!

14K gold is not pure gold. The price I quoted is for pure gold per ounce.
The website I mentioned listed the percentages based upon kt.
