Default little books to keep track

I have a good spending habit that I'd like to share with y'all and its totally, utterly free. Bank of America has these little debit card sized books to write down purchases, and instantly balance your account. You can even check whether you wrote a check or used your debit card. You can write down your deposits. You can slip your debit card into the little slot on the cover.

You can use them for credit cards, too, you just write it down. You can know your balance long before it arrives in the mail.

Here's why I do this- I know how much to set aside for the next bill, and I know exactly how much I have in my account. If my account is getting too low for my liking, or my cc too high, I scale back on spending and avoid careless temptations. These little books are cute. They're free. You just have to ask, I don't think you have to be a member of the bank. Does anybody else do this?

Yup. Just request them. I keep them organized with dot stickers- (which I filch from work) red dot for credit card, yellow for debit so I don't get confused and record in the wrong booklet. I'm sure other banks have them, too. But if not, just go to Bank of America.
