Talking I tried something new today.

I was at Wal-Mart last night. had to get a few groceries. I was going down the ethnic aisle, looking for barley. I can never find it..lol. Anyway, in the Italian section I came accross(is that spelled right, it doesn't look right..lol) Orzo. It was on sale $1.50. I'd heard of it before as a coffee alternative. And said, well I'll try it.

So I get to the till, and it scans at $1. Perfect, even better. This morning, I run the directions through Babelfish(I cant read Italian). And made some. It's more bitter than coffee, so I know next time 1 tbsp for the pot will suffice. But I enjoyed it! I love coffee, but caffeine sensitive, even the decaf bothers my tummy. Cafe d'Orzo is caffeine free. It's roasted Barley. It's a little different flavor. I compared price, it's approx 1/2 the cost for the weight as the geneirc coffee, but 1/4 of the cost per cup as I can use less Orzo to make it than I do coffee.

It is healthier for me too Gotta like that. So when I do groceries this weekend I'll get a few more boxes!

Not sure if I've ever seen this, but it might be worth checking out. Thanks for the head's up!

    Hmmm...thanks. I'll have a look when I'm in Walmart
next time. For that price I'll give it a try.

end of the world is evidently approaching.”
