    What type of party? How many should it serve? How little should it cost? Do you have a well-stocked pantry with potential ingredients to lower the costs... if so, what sort of things do you have on hand?

    I make pinwheels that are super easy and always gets rave reviews. I think I got the recipe on here somewhere.

    You'll need:
    tortillas
    softened cream cheese
    crumbled bacon
    finely chopped chives

    spread the cream cheese on the tortillas, top with bacon and chives. Roll up and slice.

    I like to eat the ends while I'm fixing them.

    Thought this is not frugal, it is so much fun! We have a chocolate fountain...we will be using it at our DS's grad party. YUMMY!
    Who knows? You might find one on Craigslist or freecycle!
    Bought my new oven 1/08 and loving it!

    If you have a fondue pot, that is always a nice way to entertain. It doesn't cost much to put the ingredients together and it's very fun.

    Tuna or Salmon Croquettes

    * 1 12 oz can Tuna Fish (I prefer Water Packed).
    * 6 Crushed Up Crackers or 1/4 Cup Breadcrumbs or Bizquick or Flour - Whatever You Have like that works)
    * 3 Eggs (Yes, you can use egg beaters).
    * 3 Tablespoons Chopped Onions (dried onion works fine).
    * Salt/Pepper/Garlic/Parsley Flakes To Taste - Experiement with this. Some people like a little red pepper too!
    * Pam or Oil To Fry, and Maybe 1 tsp butter or margarine for taste

    Chicken Spaghetti

    * Leftover shredded chicken
    * 1 can cream of chicken, cream of celery, or cream of mushroom soup (or you can make a white sauce and add chicken boullion and a little butter and cheese)
    * Cooked spaghetti
    * (optional - diced celery or bell pepper)

    Warm soup and mix with chicken and vegetables. Serve over spaghetti.

    Pasta Salad

    * Any small pasta (I cook about 1/2 - 3/4 c. per person).
    * Meat (can be a drained can of tuna, leftover shredded chicken, diced lunch meat such as ham or salami or pepperoni)
    * Cheese (any kind of cheese diced of grated such as cheddar, Provolone, Swiss, Monterey Jack, Parmesan, mozzarella or whatever you have on hand).
    * Salad dressing - I prefer Italian or ranch or a mixture of both. You can also use oil and vinegar. You want to add enough to make a nice moist pasta salad otherwise when you refrigerate the leftovers they will become very dry.
    * Veggies (any combination of chopped vegetables such as tomato, bell pepper, mushrooms, grated carrot, broccoli, etc.).
    * Extras (I like to add any of the following if I have them on hand): diced pickles of pickle slices, chopped black or green olives, bacon bits and croutons.

    Cook the pasta then rinse in cold water until it is no longer hot. Add salad dressing. Mix in the rest of your ingredients. Serve and enjoy!
