One of the best parts of that site, for me, is where you can find recipes that use up a particular ingredient.
For example, I bought 2 packages of mushrooms a few days ago to make a double batch of cream of mushroom soup. I only made one batch because I was out of one of the ingredients, and I need some ideas for using up the other package. I see there are several recipes for using them
I really could have used the "perfect portions for Easter" tool too as I had a lot of leftovers

Neat site! There is a blog I like to visit on frugality. The author takes a picture every week of her food waste once a week. I think that might be a good idea for me!

Thanks, Darlene, for the link. I shall go back to read in detail, I used to waste a lot of food, but since joining this community, I've wasted less, but still need some help to use some ingredients before they expired/gone bad.

Just started looking through the site. Thank you.
I'm in awe at the the thought that went into the marketing pictures. In their banner they have a person and name a food item.... and the person has a characteristic about them that resembles the food. LOL.The Free Spirit Saver who walks the path with Greebo.
