    Default what is a good price for goya black beans?

    i just came across a clearance of these huge sacks of goya dry black beans for 80 cents a pound. is that good???
    11% gross to retirement
    10% takehome to tithe and offerings
    emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
    credit card debt 7500
    mortgage free
    freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
    then live on the rest!

    i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.

    Depends on where you live. Prices can vary greatly depending on where one resides. It's a phenomenal price for here. I pay more than that for store brand.

    That's definitely a deal. Cheapest I could get the 1 lb bag for in the US was $1.29, generic was $.99.

    Sounds like you got a really good buy. I wish I could convince myself to like black beans, but haven't been able to so far. The weird thing is I like pretty much all other types of beans....go figure!
