    Talking Scraps & leftovers?

What do you do with your small amount of leftovers, scraps from cooking, that last bit of what ever in the jar...etc?

Depends on what the "scraps" are. If they are vegis I put them in a container in the fridge to use in soups later.

I usually use them in soups, too.

Sometimes we use the leftovers to make ommelette fillings. It depends on what it is. Broccoli, for example, with some ham, mushrooms and cheese, makes a great filling.

Sometimes we use it in soups, sometimes in casseroles. If there's only a tiny bit, the dog sometimes gets it!

I'm so uncreative when it comes to "that last bit of something". I was so proud of myself when I smashed up the last 2 cookies in the box and added them to pudding. LOL!!

I know that when I have meat loaf, I make sure that spaghetti is the nest day or so, so that I can use the meatloaf in it kind of like meatballs.

I just remembered something else I do...

When we buy potato chips or pretzels, I add the leftovers to their PBJ sandwiches.

now that's a sandwich maker after my own heart. i still put chips in my sandwiches. leftovers from a meatloaf night get turned into shepards pie for me to take to work. veggies get saved for a casserole or soup. leftovers from chirtmas or thanksgiving dinner get turned into a casserole.
