Quiche without crust.
6-8 slices of whole wheat bread (toasted)
4 slices of mozzerella cheese
4 slices of americal white cheese
1 box of frozen chopped broccoli
2 oz. jar of pimento chopped
1 TBL. chopped onion
1/2 tsp favorite mustard
4 eggs
2 cups milk
butter
s&p
Bake in a 9x9 casserole @ 325 for 60-65 minutes.
Cook broccoli according to directions and drain, set aside.
TOAST four slices of bread layer on bottom of ungreased casserole
top with american cheese, layer broccoli mixed with pimento over cheese, place swiss on top.
(in bowl whisk eggs slowly adding milk, onion, mustard, & dash of salt and pepper)
Pour mixture over casserole, cover and refriderate for one hour.
Take out.
TOAST remaining bread, 2-4 slices. Butter toast, cut into small cubes and cover casserole.
Bake uncovered @325 60-65 minutes.
Side note, when making topping use two slices of bread, add more buttered toast if needed to cover.
