Share you very best 5-ingredients or less recipe with me.
I'm sure there are a lot already on here, so feel free to link them for me to help me find them!
Or share your favorite new (not already posted.)
I have a lot of favorite recipes, but most of them have a lot more ingredients than 5, even once I have streamlined them. But here are two that I always gets raves about, and neither of them require any measuring:
1) Crescent Roll Treats
-1 tube crescent rolls (generic is always good)
-marshmallows (enough for 1 large or several small for each roll)
-chocolate chips *or* cinnamon
-hot water and confectioner's sugar (optional)
Separate rolls as directed. Before rolling, place a marshmallow in each, along with a little cinnamon or chocolate. Roll and bake as directed, taking care to seal in the filling. While baking, mix together sugar and hot water (hot will slightly "cook" the cornstarch in the sugar and remove some of the uncooked flavor) to a consistency o drizzle over treats. When thy are done, allow to cool for a few minutes and drizzle icing over the top. You can add cinnamon to the icing, or you can substitute some chocolate chips (melted, of course) for the icing.
2) Dad's Great Green Beans- how much of each you use just depends on how you much you want to use.+
-green beans (we prefer frozen)
-cheese (cheddar is really good)
-bacon (I don't eat meat except chicken, so I use veggie bacon)
Precook bacon. I throw mine in the microwave. Put green beans in a microwave or oven safe dish, depending on how you want to cook it. Shred cheese and toss half with beans. Crumble bacon and toss half with beans. Top with remaining shredded cheese and crumbled bacon. Cook until beans are heated and cheese is melted.

Kimber, here is my recipe for coconut macaroons. It has four ingredients and is simple to make.
3 egg whites
1 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups dessicated coconut. This is the finely shredded unsweetened coconut.
Jam
Whisk together the egg whites to floppy peak stage and start adding the sugar about a 1/4 cup at a time. When it forms stiff peaks, fold in the coconut.
Take golf ball sized balls and squash down with you forefinger to form a tidy round cookie with a little hollow in the centre. Fill the hollow with a drop of raspberry jam or blackcurrent jelly - whatever you fancy.
Cook at 180* (medium heat) until they are golden brown - about 10 - 15 minutes.
Delicous.

Thanks, Rhonda- I love macaroons and had forgotten all about them. I used to make them when I was a pastry chef and they were great, but I had completely forgotten about them. And I certainly don't remember the recipe we used anymore ( though yours seems about them same). I think we might have added a tablespoon o so of flour, and have you ever added baking cocoa to yours? Yum!
Oddly enough, I JUST bought shredded coconut today. I might have to make a very small batch (because I would probably eat them all and I need to LOSE weight!)
