Do you make your own corn tortillas?
I started making them about a month ago. It is fun. I have tried in the past w/o success, and finally tried the cereal box liner trick. They are so much nicer fresh than store bought, and so much cheaper!

I have made them in the past, but IMO making corn tortillas is a pain. I agree that it's fun, but it is terribly time consuming. I use wax paper and a press.
I do sometimes make flour tortillas though. They are cheap, easy, and I can make a batch of them quckly.

You think it is time consuming? I can make about 1 1/2 dozen start to finish in about 20 minutes, while the filling ingredients are cooking. I don't think it is too bad. I don't use a press, though- I roll them with a rolling pin. IMO, wax paper is a hassle- it gets stuck in the tortillas and is just generally a pain. The cereal bag works much better.
