Tuna Noodle Casserole!!
I was going to make this tonight and I planned on using one can sweet peas, one can cream of mushroom soup and one can tuna...my question is do i add one can of mlik or water or does it matter...or would I even need any extra liquid? sorry if this is a silly question? I'm trying to learn how to make my usual processed food homemade...I would normally just make tuna helper!!!!...and I know I could make it cheaper and with less sodium!!!!!!!!!!!!
Another bonus to being frugal and making dinners instead of just buying them through the drive-thru is...weight loss!!! I've lost 10lbs already...yeah...I guess it only goes to show not only is drive-thru expensive day after day but it's unhealthy!!

I just kind of guesstimate the milk I add to tuna casserole. I start with a half a can and add until it is the consistency I want.

i add a half to 3/4 full can. i put the soup in the dish first and then stir the milk in. usually it's loose enough with just a half can.
i usually don't cook my noodles first, just stir them in with everything else and they don't seem to need the extra liquid, but still come out cooked through but not hard.wife to carl

That's a good idea about using uncooked noodles! I'll have to give it a try.
I also add some milk, probably less than a cup.

Uncooked noodles or pasta work really well. As do packets of soup powder as opposed to canned soup (plus, it's a lot easier to carry home from the supermarket if you don't have a car!!!) I just make them up with slightly less water (if I'm using left over (already cooked) noodles etc) or the same amount for dried.

you can also use 1 can evaporated milk to make a creamier sauce. this is a staple recipe of my moms, i love it, but ds will not try it. I like to top it with cracker crumbs.
