Easy Pizzas
Easy Grands!® Pepperoni Pizzas
Makes: 8 pizzas
Individual pizzas, just the way you like them, are ready in 25 minutes thanks to a tasty crust made from refrigerated biscuits.
1 can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury® Grands!® refrigerated biscuits (any variety)
1 cup pizza sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (8 oz)
1/2 package (3.5-oz size) sliced pepperoni
1. Heat oven to 375°F. Press each biscuit into 6-inch round. Place on 2 large or 3 small greased cookie sheets.
2. Top each biscuit with pizza sauce, cheese and pepperoni.
3. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until bottoms are deep golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
I used the store brand jumbo biscuits with this.
I also did some with refried beans, jalapeno peppers, & cheese. When it was finished cooking, I then topped it with shredded lettuce, tomato and sour cream

I use Pita bread (lebonese bread) for a crispy base. Or Indian bread, (Roti). These breads usually have organic ingredients and they cater for people which intolerences to wheat products etc.
Use the bread for the base and top it with 'whatever'. It's easy for kids to make there own.

i made these a few nights ago and they turned out pretty good. i went back to get a second one and ds, the picky one, had beat me to the last one.
you can also roll them out thin and put a little filling on them and then fold in half and seal the edges and you have mini calzones.wife to carl

Snap! I find that pitta bread makes the best pizzas, especially if you stick them in the toaster or under the grill before splitting them and adding the toppings, and they're perfect size for one if you're eating on your own.

That's pretty much those snazzy folded over pizzas isn't it (Calzone I think). I hadn't even thought of that but it's a brilliant idea!Originally posted by sanderson76
