    Thumbs up Easy Potato Soup

    Easy Potato Soup

1 onion, chopped (We use onion powder)
    1 stick of butter
2 cans cream of celery soup or cream of chicken (We use one of each)
    1 can of chicken broth
    1 pint of half&half
    1 cup of milk
20-oz. bag of southern style frozen hash browns, thawed (We buy the 32-oz bag and have used them all and it turns out fine)

In frying pan, saute onion in butter until tender. Transfer to soup pot on stove. Add remaining ingredients. Cook on low heat, stirring occasionally until soup thickens.

This is so easy and yummy..it tastes better the longer it sits and is even better warmed up the next day.

We serve this with shredded cheddar cheese and bacon pieces.
