    Default Extra Baby Rice cereal

    Hello!
We're on WIC and get all of these boxes of baby cereal, but my daughter won't eat it. I don't blame her, because it tastes like.. like papier mache paste. Does anybody have any alternative uses for it? I could just not get it, but hey, it's free!

Not sure about other uses for it, but what about donating it to a local woman's shelter or the like?

I have been donating it to hurricane relief, but they have stopped picking up that box and now we have two grocery bags full of boxes of it just sitting around.

I'm in Germany on an Army post, so the donation opportunities are limited. Here on post the only place to donate useable goods (besides the hurricane relief box) is the WIC office, and, well, everybody there is covered.

Thanks. She won't eat jarred baby food, either, except very occasionally. She seems to have a problem with prepared foods... a young diy-er or a prima donna, one of the two. But I've just started making her some food from scratch, maybe I could try mixing it with that!

I mixed my rice cereal with breast milk. My twins liked that.
Does it have to be rice? can it be Barley?
Also, tell the WIC nurses oe nutritionists about the problem. They may be able to offer you a substitute.
