    Thumbs up Easy,Yummy Recipes

    IMPOSSIBLE CHEESEBURGER PIE:

    1 lb. ground beef 1 C. shreded cheddar cheese
    1 C. chopped onion 1 C. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 C. Bisquick
    2 eggs

    Preheat oven to 400*F
    Cook ground beef & onion;drain. Stir in salt.
    Spread in a greased 9" pie plate;sprinkle with cheese.
    Stir remaining ingrediants with gork until blended.
    Pour over meat mixture.
    Bake 25 minutes or until knife inserted in center
    comes out clean.

    PARMESAN NOODLES:

    1- 8oz. pkg. medium egg noodles
    3 Tbsp. chopped green onions
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 C. grated parmesan cheese
    Garlic salt & pepper to taste

    Cook noodles*drain*toss with onions, butter, cheese, garlic salt & pepper.

    CALSO VERDE

    1/4 C. chopped yellow onion
    1 C. diced potatoes
    1/4 lb. pepperoni (apprz. 1C. sliced)
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 quart boiling water
    2 C. chopped cabbage
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper

    Add to saucepan- onion, potatoes, pepperoni & olive oil.
    Pour boiling water over. Cook over medium heat approx.
    30 minutes or until potatoes are done. Add cabbage,
    salt & pepper. Cook about 3 minutes.
    Serve with cornbread.

    SMASHED POTATO SIDE DISH:

    3 lbs. small red potatoes
    8oz. sour cream
    8oz. grated cheddar cheese
    3 green onions,chopped
    Salt & pepper, to taste

    Boil potatoes with skins until tender. Drain.
    In large bowl,use masher just to smash potaotes (you don't want them smooth,just broken up and chunky.)
    Add sour cream and cheese. Stir until well mixed. Season with salt & pepper to taste,sprinkle with chopped green onion.

    CHEESY PLEASEY POTAOTES:

    *These are really yummy! MIL made them at Chritmas.*

    In a covered casserole, alternate layers of sliced potaotes,
    thinly sliced onions and grated cheddar cheese. Add one
    8oz. can of Cream of Mushroom soup & one can of milk.
    Cook at 350*F for 3 1/2 hours or until potatoes are soft when pierced with fork.

    CALIFORNIA CHICKEN:

    3 chicken breasts,cut up small
    1 C. instant rice,uncooked
    Cream of mushroom soup
    1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
    2 C. water

    Grease baking dish. Add uncooked rice to dish.
    Spread chicken pieces on top. Spread on soup.
    Mix water with onion soup mix and pour over top.
    Do not stir. Bake at 350*F for 45 minutes.

    I have not tryed any of these recipes (yet) other than the Cheesy Pleasey Potatoes. They are all tried and true recipes from friends tho....I hope you enjoy them!!

    mmm....mom use to make a cheeseburger pie a lot when we were little...I loved them.
