Swiss cheese question
Yesterday was my Grandson's christening and everything went well. It seemed liked no one touched the swiss cheese. I have about 2lbs of it, there are only DH and I at home so I wont use it very fast. My ? is can you freeze it? I also had leftover turkey, roast beef and ham, I did freeze those for hot sandwiches later on. I have had success freezing them in the past.
I just don't know about the cheese. Any thoughts?

I love swiss on a tuna casserole or on an open faces tuna on Eng muffin broiled to bubble the cheese. About freezing, I'm sure you can.

I freeze cheese often, it should be ok! Just wrap it well, I would do maybe foil then plastic.

yup, fine. Cheese can go a little crumbly in the freezer, but I just call that PRE GRATED!!!!!
It is in big enough chunks that frozen slices will be fine in sandwichs, but if you need grated cheese it is superb!!!!!

I grate it then freeze it and you only have to take out as much as you need at one time
