What kind of recipes are you looking for? How to dry fruit and vegies? Fruit leather? Soup mixes? jerky?

All of the above, except fruit leather We just have a dehydrator and we've used it once. We tried to dry apples. The results were not what we expected

I would be interested in this too. I have a dehydrator, for 7 years, and have never used it.

Check the library for books by Mary Bell. I believe that's her name. My library has a few, but I haven't been able to get any of them yet. I've seen her books mentioned on several preparedness/homesteading type sites.

I have 3 dehydrators and have them all going all summer and fall! I dry lots fo small chopped up vegies, all the mushrooms I pick all summer/fall, herbs, fruit, jerkey. I don't have a jerky recipe unfortunatly.. I do it by guess and by golly.... I'm sure there are some online... Let me see fi I can find some..

I use my dehydrator to make my dog his treats. You can buy liver from the butcher, slice it thinly and dry it in the dehydrator. 'Cheap as chips' and better than shop bought dog treats! Also make dog biscuits in the dehydrator instead of baking in the oven.
