The power of one meal
Hamburger Soup-
1 pound ground turkey or beef
1 onion diced
1 bottle vegetable juice (I think 48 ounces - like V-8)
1 can low sodium cream of mushroon soup (.50 on sale)
1 can low sodium cream of celery soup (.50 on sale)
1 handful of rice or small pasta (optional - great way to get rid of the random)
1 can water (if you use the pasta or rice)
1 pound frozen veggies (corn, peas, carrots, green beans, etc...)
Brown meat and onions in soup pot. Drain fat. Add vegetable juice and soups. Let come to boil. Add rice/pasta and can of water if using. Allow to cook completely. Add frozen veggies and let come to boil.
This is one of my favorite stick to your rib meals. Leftovers are almost always better. This is a big hit with my kids too.
Enjoy.
