I want this out of my freezer!!
I have a tiny little freezer and want to make room. I have 2 cornish hens in there that my grandmother gave me. The only things I have to cook with are an electric skillet and crockpot and microwave (as most of you know)...
Any good recipes? I'm probably going to make chicken and dumplings or chicken noodle soup with one, but want to make something a little more 'manly' for my bf with the other one. So he can actually sit down and enjoy a decent meal that's NOT pork chops...I'm so sick of pork chops!!
Anyway...any recipes???

My mom would cut them in half and put stuffing under them and oven roast them. I think you could do that in the crockpot but might need to put foil or a foil tray under them to help hold the stuffing inplace when lifting them out.

I just made cornish hens last week in the crockpot. I just put in a little water and put the hens in there. Seasoned them with a little lemon pepper. You can use salt and pepper if you do not have lemon pepper.

It's probably a bit late now, but just so you know--you can roast in a cp. Just put balls of tin foil in the bottom of your crock and put the meat on top of them. Works great!
Btw--my dh said chicken and dumplings is a very "manly" meal lol!(Happens to be his favorite)
