    Default Ramen Noodle Recipes?

I have been trying to find recipes that use ramen noodles. Has anyone tried a meal using them? If so, what are some that you liked?

A favorite around here is 1 lb ground beef browned with a chopped onion added to a few packets of beef ramen noodles. Sometimes we also add frozen peas or beans, makes for a GREAT filling soup.

Hmm, sounds like a good idea for dinner tonight now, thanks!

My neighbor makes a good oriental type salad w/ them,
if I can get the recipe, I'll post later,
unless someone else might have it.

I think I might make the stir fry recipe -- but without the Ramen noodles. I won't allow those things in my home. It doesn't really matter how cheap they are. I just don't think they are healthy -- way too much salt. I can come up with my own seasonings and either serve it alone or on brown rice. Do you use Chinese cabbage or just regular in that? I think something like Napa or bok choy would be good in it.

I just used what ever I had on hand. But I think Chinese cabbage and or bok choy and napa would be good!! I do not really like ramen noodles either. I think this would be good over brown rice.

I follow the recipe the first time I make it, then I start adjusting it to what I have on hand or think would be good.

    Default chicken ramen stir fry

We do a chicken type stir fry - we use boneless skinless chicken cooked anc cut into bite size pieces, then stir fry a bag of mixed veggies - while they are cooking, I boil the ramen noodles. When veggies are almost done, add cooked chicken to heat, add drained noodles to veggies and sprinkle with the ramen seasoning. Stir until all coated and everything is mixed. I do this alot with leftover chicken, sometimes leftover veggies also.

We cook and drain them, then add some butter, 1/2 the season packet and some parmasean cheese along with some type of meat and a veggie. The kids love them that way.
