Leftover steak?
Last night we had BBQ steaks for dinner. We ate at DH's parents' house, and DH bought way too many steaks. The number of steaks wasn't the problem, it was the size. So basically I have the equivalent of 6 cooked steaks leftover. I have no idea what to make with them besides maybe philly cheese steak sandwiches. Any ideas?

Those are great ideas! Do you have any recipes for those?

You could make steak soup. Dice the steaks and put in a pot with a can of diced tomatoes, or tomato sauce, some water, onions, potatoes, carrots, whatever veggies you want. Simmer until veggies are done, about 45 minutes.

Beef stir fry:
Thinly slice the leftover steak, heat one-two tablespoons of oil in a wok or large skillet, add veggies that you like, broccoli, onions, water chestnuts, thinly sliced carrots, whatever (you can buy the frozen stir-fry veggies in a bag). Stir veggies over medium high heat until tender-crisp. Add a third to half cup of bottled (like Kikkoman) stir fry sauce, and the sliced steak. Heat through. Serve over rice.

Fajitas! You could slice up the steaks and marinate them (we like this one: http://www.recipezaar.com/106371). Then I'd stir-fry peppers and onions, and add in the meat at the end to heat it through since it's already cooked. Serve on tortillas.... yummy!
