Unhappy Needing help with weekly menus

I usually don't post here in this area but I'm just having a dilemma. Doc has put me on Lexapro 10 mg (I'm starting my 4th week) and I can't seem to focus on anything anymore. I do my shopping on Friday nights and prepare and I can't think of ANYTHING! DH and I are starting a new eating plan since the kids are away at school. We will only be eating (chicken, fish, tuna) and sticking to veggies (no cream sauces) etc.

Can you please give me some ideas? I don't think this Lexapro is working for me anyway......

    Thanks in advance

    Melissa

    Here are a few ideas:

    chicken breasts topped with salsa
    boiled zucchini
    green salad

large green salad loaded with veggies and topped with a can of albacore tuna and thousand island dressing

chicken fajitas on whole wheat tortillas
    spanish rice

If you have a grill you could grill chicken or fish. Grill extra then have it on top of a salad the next night. You could also stir fry, yum.

The 1st thought off the top of my head were to grill either the fish or the chicken with a little bit of garlic salt, rosemary, lemon, and olive oil which would also taste great on veggies which you can grill all at one time. And its versatile too because one night it could be kebabs, and another night it could top a salad, or stuff it into a pita. Its delicious, healhy, easy and in my book the most important part....almost no mess!
