I like to do this. Amounts aren't shown because it's just a pantry/fridge dump.

    cream of chicken soup
    onions, chopped
left over chicken, chunked or chopped
    carrots
    diced potatoes
    peas
gravy mix (for thickening and flavor)
    biscuits or rolls
seasonings as desired (bullion cubes, garlic, salt, pepper and then whatever you like)

take a pot and fill it part way with water and add your seasonings, carrots and potatoes. cook until taters and carrots are fork tender. add chicken, peas, onions, and soup. simmer away. if it's too thin, add gravy mix to thicken.if it;s too thick, add water. Serve with rolls or biscuits.

simple, and you can mess with it all you like to make it your own.

My kids love this soup with a loaf of fresh bread.
Chop whole onion and cook til soft in olive oil. Add 3-4 chopped carrots, 2 cloves pressed garlic, 2 cans chopped tomatoes, 3 cans chicken/vegetable broth, some Italian seasoning. Cook until carrots are soft then heat to boil. Add 1 cup of elbow macaroni and cook 7-8 minutes. Add one can of drained and rinsed northern white beans and cook 5 minutes more. Sometimes I add more water is it seems too thick. It's very quick and easy. It's from a cook book called " Cheap and Easy"!
    Great on a cold day.

    2 lbs of hamburger
2 cans of Bush chili beans or Ranch style beans
    2 cans of minestrone soup
    1-2 cans of Ro-tel
1 can or 1 cup of frozen corn.
    1 can of water

Fry up the hamburger and drain
add all the other ingredients and simmer.

We call it pantry soup. It makes alot so I 1/2 it and still have enough for dh, dsis, dmom and I plus enough to put a very large serving into the freezer.
