1 Generic prepared tomato sauce (1.50)

Light Tuna Salad

3 cans generic tuna salad (1.80)
1 head lettuce (1.00)
1 can of corn (.79)
Saltines or bread (1.29)

Hi all,
This is my menu for the week. I know some of the days are a bit more then $5, but we do get leftovers and my menu's are for a family of 6 (3 teen boys).


Monday =
Pot roast 3.24lbs (6.83) only using 2/3 of it $4.31
potatoes (1/2 bag) $1.00
salad W/ dressing (1/2 head) $0.75
1 large granny apple $0.25
leftover bread $0
Total = $6.31

Tuesday =
Zesty chicken 1 whole chicken $1.43 (can't believe I got one for $1.43)
augratin potatoes (1/2 bag w/cheese) $2.00
salad w/dressing $0.75
black eyed peas $0.25
Total = $4.43

Wednesday =
Spaghetti dinner 1 can Hunt's spaghetti sauce $1.00
1 box spaghetti $0.88
Salad (1/2 head iceburg) $0.50
Salad dressing $0.50
Homemade bread $1.00
Husband and I will have leftovers
Total = $3.88

Thursday =
Beef Stroganoff beef on sale $1.88
sour cream (.70 & 8 oz cream cheese .50)

Sunday = Turkey ($11.22 - 1/4 of it) $2.81 (didn't have leftovers so cooking another)
